Jewelweed Sticker
Jewelweed is a marvelous plant that exists in moist, semi-shady areas throughout Northeastern America. It often forms dense, pure stands in floodplain forests and around the forested edges of marshes, bogs and vernal pools. They’re also known as Spotted Touch-me-not because when their seed capsules are ripe, ERUPT at the slightest touch and send the seeds flying far away from the parent plant. As late summer comes around, go out and poke their seed capsules and enjoy the fireworks.
100% of proceeds will be supporting on-the-ground vernal pool research led by community scientists.
