Buttonbush love wet feet! Although they exist in other wetlands besides vernal pools, these shrubs sport golfball sized round flowers which support the pollinators throughout the surrounding ecosystem. Take a moment and count the native bees visiting the blooms, bet you lose count pretty quickly!
